Kyla, you can purchase uncooked corn tortillias and deep-fry 'em. This is actually a little more along the lines of what I was thinking for my restaurant. It won't be mexican themed but I'd love to have a variety of dips on the menu as apps, dips are great. Perhaps you've got some dip recipes you'd like to share with us?
You could do fresh tortillas for some dips, fresh pita chips for others and plain old bread for the rest. Also veggies and dip, that gives the new guy something to hone his knife-skills on.
